SafeSync for Business seamlessly integrates into your existing PC environment, automatically keeping your data files synchronized and up-to-date across multiple computers, mobile devices, and the cloud.
SafeSync for Business has a synchronization client. This is a piece of software that you download and install onto all your devices. As you make changes to your local files, the client keeps them synchronized and up to date on all your devices and online storage space. This all happens continuously and automatically in the background without slowing down your PC.

SafeSync for Business synchronizes your files in two ways:

  • You can simply drag-and-drop files into the SafeSync folder and whichever device the SafeSync folder exists on, the same files will be present with the latest changes. These files will also be accessible from the cloud using your web console.
  • You can also use the folder pairing feature and synchronize existing folders in their present location to the cloud. You can continue to save files as you have done, without having to change the way you do things.

Team Folders – A better way to collaborate

As part of the business version of SafeSync, there is also the Team Folder feature that takes the sync and collaboration a step further. The Team Folder acts like a controlled shared folder that you can use to collaborate with specific team members. (They must be a member of the company license.) You can create these on the fly, whether you’re a normal user or the admin

With each Team Folder, you can decide who you invite, plus control who has read or write access. It works just like a traditional shared folder on a file server without the need for complex and costly hardware giving you much greater control. Simply save a new or edited file into your Team Folder and these changes will be synchronized across all members of this team folder. So when members next look in their folders the changes will have been replicated. Team Folders give greater control and confidentiality than you would get with the simple sharable link functionality.
