Channel Account Manager –Turkey

Job Description:

  • Proactively manage the channel partners and focus on new business
  • Develop the channel partners based on business plans; migrate channel partners to higher levels of accreditation
  • Working towards set quarterly targets including the recruitment, development and retention of new Reseller Partners using Distribution & Marketing activities
  • Accompanying channel partners when visiting customer accounts ensuring that accounts are developed to the full and that the complete range of company products and services are introduced to the customer
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with customers both internal and external
  • Manage new and existing accounts effectively to maximize current and future business opportunities
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge and understanding of industry related and technical developments
  • Provide Partners with strategic guidance throughout the pre-sales phase
  • Ensuring that the channel partners are provided with accurate and timely updates regarding development in Trend Micro products and technical enhancements

Requirements:

  • Excellent presentation, writing and project management skills
  • High level of self organization/ self motivation and time management
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally
  • Deliver strong understanding for the needs of the channel coupled with demonstrable time
  • Knowledge and understanding channel strategy at SMB level

Qualifications/Education/Experience:

  • Successful experience within a channel sales or channel management environment
  • Experience gained within IT industry essential and anti-virus software industry desirable
  • Experience of working with and selling to SMB & Mid Sector End User customers
  • Sound understanding of the sales environment with the ability to work towards and achieve targets
  • Fluent in Turkish
  • Good conversational English – a minimum
