Sales Engineer - Dubai

Working in conjunction with Sales, Marketing and Product Managers, the Sales Engineer will be the technical bridge between our Sales Representatives and their pre-sales customers. The Sales Engineer will take ownership of the prime technical relationship with our pre-sales customers to drive customer satisfaction by proactively managing and delivering technical information to our customers both onsite, online and via telephone.
Job Description:
- Responsibility for working with the sales teams, delivering sales & technical presentations to customers, performing needs analysis, architecting solutions and matching the best technical solutions to meet customer’s requirements
- Provide technical back up to Trend Micro sales personnel in the Middle East region except Saudi for a range of products, during the complete sales cycle
- Assist with ensuring that our infrastructures are up and running
- Share best practices with Sales Engineers to enhance the quality and efficiency of the other members
- Prepare and deliver product training to both sales and Trend Premium Resellers (technical and sales staff)
- Prepare, deliver presentations and following up on technical presentations
- Day to day – deal with unscheduled items e.g. internal questions from sales, incoming presales calls etc.
Requirements:
- Work in fast-paced, high pressure environment under supervision to provide technical knowledge of Trend Micro software products within pre-sales customer’s environments
- Willingness to travel to attend customer visits, presentations, marketing and other events
- Strong multi-tasking and problem solving abilities, quick learner with desire to learn new tools and techniques
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, customer service, account management and negotiation skills with the ability to interface with a diverse set of clients
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft environment, both platforms and applications
- Very good knowledge of the IT security sector
- Excellent English – written and spoken
- Arabic language skills
Qualifications/Education/Experience:
- Technical education
- Experienced within the AV / malicious code field and with Unix / Linux Platforms
- Background from networking
- Experienced working with end users, resellers, channel partners
- Previous Experience of sales engineer role in computer Software or systems and / or technical support
- Knowledge with anti-virus, anti-spam, web filtering, content technologies, and / or other security technologies would be a major advantage
