Trend Micro tar mark på konsumentmarknaden ─ ingår avtal med ASUS
Trend Micro fortsätter att satsa stort på konsumentmarknaden. Senaste steget är ett OEM-avtal med ASUS, en av de största PC-tillverkarna i världen.

Trend Micro Expands Ubiquitous Security: Easy, Powerful Consumer Security Shipped With Global-Top-5 brand ASUS™ Laptops, Desktops and Eee PCs™ Worldwide
Trend Micro has signed an OEM agreement with one of the world’s largest PC makers to bundle its flagship consumer product – Trend Micro Internet Security – on select ASUS laptops, desktops and premium Eee PC models shipped worldwide.
A light memory load that doesn’t affect computer performance, fast installation, and effective protection that includes unique parental control features come straight out of the box for ASUS customers who choose to take advantage of the pre-installed 60-day trial of Trend Micro™ Internet Security.
Trend Micro Internet Security give consumers the freedom and peace of mind to shop, surf, or bank online without struggling to update or manage their security programs. It is powered by the Trend Micro™ Smart Protection Network™ infrastructure, which works in the background, correlating threat intelligence, protecting in the Internet cloud, and giving consumers – wherever they are -- immediate, real-time protection competitive products don’t offer.

Worldwide Availability
Trend Micro is extending its 60-day trial protection of Trend Micro Internet Security to select laptops, desktops and premium Eee PC models – Seashell 1005HA, Seashell 1008HA, and Disney™ Netbook by ASUS. The product will be available a the end of October 2009 in all retail stores that carry ASUS laptops, desktops and Eee PCs in EMEA, North America, Australia and New Zealand, Central Asia Pacific, Japan, China and India. Customers can activate the trial immediately after setting up their computer for the first time.
