20th Anniversary

Letter from Eva Chen, CEO
Twenty years ago, a small group of us realized the potential harm that could be caused by something not well understood at the time: a computer virus. While no one could predict the impact it would have, we made it our mission to build the best solution to the problem. It remains Trend Micro’s mission today.
As a team of almost 4000 worldwide, we work daily to help make a world safe for exchanging digital information. Over the last two decades, we made history by delivering innovative solutions that were best suited for the way we used technology. Today, technology has a greater role in the world. While it is still neither good nor bad, it is used and will continue to be used to do both.
That is why Trend Micro remains committed to our vision. We live in a time where the Internet has enabled a level of collaboration never before possible. This has brought us to a new frontier: Trend Micro Smart Protection Network. We believe this is the solution for securing the digital world in the future and we invite all to participate in it.
Thank you to our customers, partners, our employees and everyone who is part of Trend Micro’s 20-year history. We look forward to making history in the next 20 years and beyond.
Sincerely,
